Iran film ‘Wing of Imagination’ partakes in Indian gala

Iranian feature ‘Wing of Imagination’ is set to partake in the competition lineup of the 4th SIFFCY - Smile International Film Festival for Children and Youth in India.

Directed by Ahmad Feyzi, ‘Wing of Imagination’ is the story of a teenage boy named Reza whose job is to carry the colored silks from painting work shop to the people’s house, who wave carpet, in different parts of the city by his bicycle.

The painting workshop is supposed to shut down which would leave Reza as well as other carpet wavers jobless.

SIFFCY is a special film platform devoted to a greater appreciation of meaningful cinema made for children and youth.

The festival presents features, shorts, live action and animation films over one week, with a projected attendance of more than 20,000 children and hundreds of film professionals and eminent guests from around the world this year, according to the website.

The event is currently underway and will run until December 16, 2018 in New Delhi.
